A dream made real

Nadia

Nadia has so much enthusiasm for her new Daniels home, she even raves about the buying process itself.

“The entire experience was great. I really enjoyed it,” she says. “Everybody was so nice, and questions were answered even before I asked them! The handouts they gave before and after signing were so helpful.”

Nadia says she hadn’t even thought about buying a home of her own, but because she drove by the site so often on her way to work and liked the design so much, she started to daydream maybe it was possible. Now her dream is a reality.

“I didn’t think I could ever afford it,” she says. “Just the way the deposit is structured makes it really helpful.” The layout, she says, makes it extremely liveable.

“I’m on the ground floor, so I can even have a barbecue!” she says. “I love having my own doorbell, my porch light, and the gate! I like how it’s set up, how you can enter through the living room, not just the kitchen. I’m right in front of a park, too.”

She also loves her nine-foot ceilings. “You just don’t see ceilings that high. My unit’s got a really good-sized bedroom, and it’s so sunny. There’s lots of closet space, tons of room in the pantry. It’s just such a good value.”

The location suits her better than she dared hope, with her office just across the border in Oakville. “There’s a grocery store right here, and a community centre. I’ve used the running track already,” she says. “There’s a library, swimming pool, bank, hardware store — it’s so walkable. Everything is right there.”
