Love at first sight for young couple and Daniels FirstHome™ Aurora!
Irene and Rob Foliot are ready to move into their new townhome at Daniels FirstHome™ Aurora, and they couldn’t be happier! In early June, they camped out with other eager buyers to be among the first to purchase at this incredibly successful community by The Daniels Corporation. Irene explains that their new home shopping took the form of searching on the Internet. “We came across Daniels, saw the FirstHome™ information, and we were amazed at the opportunities the program offers. As soon as we saw the location, we knew this would be perfect for us.”
They were thrilled at the chance to by a top-quality, fully built condominium townhome at Daniels’ newest community designed to help people realize their dream of homeownership. “Daniels makes it easy by building before going on sale,” Irene says. “We were able to walk through models of the designs, which helped us figure out which plan was best for our needs. We were so grateful to be able to see the finished product before deciding.” They purchased the two-bedroom F model with their first choice of the kitchen finishes package featuring dark brown cabinets and a grey countertop.
First-time buyers are also ecstatic at being able to move in within 30, 60 and 90 days. “We bought our home on June 7th, and we’ll move in at the end of August,” Irene says. “We’re so excited!” That excitement took on a new level when Irene and Rob entered a photo of themselves in front of their new home in the Daniels FirstHome™ Aurora Instagram contest – and won a HomeSense Gift Card. “It’s perfect,” Irene says. “I’ve been looking at ideas for decorating, furnishing and accessorizing our new townhome.”
Rob is a data analyst for a firm in Thornhill, and Irene works for the Town of Richmond Hill, where they have been renting. “Rob lived in Aurora when he was a kid, and he has always liked it there,” Irene says. “The location is central in the GTA, and it still has a small town feel.” As for their Daniels purchase experience, she says, “Everyone was so helpful. We attended a first-time buyer seminar, and we were informed every step of the way.”
